Salus Functional bread is the semi-finished mix for the production of a functional and low carb bread that combines pleasant taste and nutritional balance. It is made with 100% Italian wheat. This revolutionary blend of flours allows to obtain a bread with seven nutritional benefits: energy-reduced, low fat, reduced carbs, high fibre, high protein, reduced sodium and with oat beta-glucans.
In particular, Salus bread contains oat beta-glucans which help reduce blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of at least 3 g of Beta-glucans (about 150 g of Salus Functional Bread), according to Italian law (Reg. (EC) n. 1924/2006 and Reg. (EC) n. 1160/2011).
