A letter from the founder: introducing my dream, introducing Il Granaio delle Idee
The birth of an IDEA is always the beginning of a journey. You know where you are starting from, you imagine where you will arrive, and in between lie the unexpected, the surprises, the tangible TRANSFORMATION of what once existed only in your mind… 24 years after founding Il Granaio delle Idee, I want to use this letter to share, from the heart, the idea, my journey and how they have evolved.
Il Granaio delle Idee is first and foremost a VISION. It is the passion of a young man who decided to invest in a DREAM in 1998.
When everyone saw food as a necessity, for us it was already CULTURE. And now that many people are seeking HEALTHY AND NATURAL foods, today as in the past, we use NO CHEMICAL ADDITIVES. Our RESEARCH selects only the best ingredients for breadmaking: ENZYMES, flours, lactic acid bacteria… This is what makes the blends we produce the quintessence of innovation in our industry.
Our philosophy is CLEAN LABEL, meaning a clear, straightforward ingredient list. We pair clear ideas with clear information: for us, living well begins with thinking well, planning, developing, staying informed and growing.
BREAD is an ancient food that has always been a staple of our diet. It is rich in history, poetry and flavour, and appreciated across all cultures. At Il Granaio delle Idee, bread also becomes a vehicle for well-being and a gateway to the future: our mixes contain no chemical additives and are designed to support people's well-being.
Today we are at a turning point. The society we live in can choose to improve its relationship with the environment, find a BALANCE, distribute food resources fairly and create a healthier world with a greater spirit of SHARING. We want to do our part, make a difference and change our eating habits, eliminating those that are least beneficial and most harmful to us and to the environment.
To speak of health is to speak of tomorrow; to speak of nature is to speak of the FUTURE.
